I was a bit worried about what I would get for the low price I paid for these on Amazon.com, but so far have been very pleased. Both machines booted up and worked equally well right out of the box. The machine boots up faster than the the thinkpad I use for work (less than 50 seconds even after a windows update, 32 seconds out of the box). The screen is clear and bright and the Intel HD 3000 video is everything needed for everyday use (of course this is not a gaming machine). Wireless connectivity worked great one floor up from my router with no hiccups after a heavy testing. One of these went to my 10 year old son and he can play internet based games like Minecraft and Roblox with ease and with good video response. The included software is nice, especially the webcam utilities which was a big hit for with my son, as he can make videos with special effects with ease. Construction is... I love how the keys sound and the ease of navigating around the keyboard. It is pretty fast for my day to day usage (email, online surfing, videos) and has a big enough screen to view most of the screens that I need. I like how sleek this looks (black color) and I also like the webcam. The face verify system does not work, but I am not sure if I would want it anyway. Overall, a good purchase for the price.
